	2013 Annual Sale of Tax-Defaulted Properties The San Bernardino County Tax Collector's Office will hold its annual online auction of tax-defaulted properties from June 1 through June 7. The auction consists of more than 5,000 tax-defaulted properties, including single-family residences, timeshares, commercial buildings, and vacant land. Bids start as low as $850 and deposits are due by May 23. Property is sold "as-is" and purchasers are encouraged to complete a thorough due-diligence review prior to submitting a bid. Abuse can come in many forms including physical, mental suffering, neglect, isolation, abduction and financial. Shame and fear often form the basis of this reluctance to report.
