Barstow-Daggett Airport is located in the desert area near the city of Barstow, on the route between Los Angeles and Las Vegas. Built in 1933 as a CAA Beacon Site, it is the oldest of the county's airports and was formerly owned at different times by the US Marine Corps and the US Army, as well as the CAA.
