Commissions & Committees |
The County of San Bernardino has more than 150
boards, commissions and committees providing advice and feedback to
the County Board of Supervisors on diverse topics. Information and

Business Licenses |
The County requires certain businesses
operating in the county unincorporated areas to obtain and maintain
a business license. Information and application materials are

Claim for Refund of Tax Payments |
Claims for Refund of Tax Payments and/or penalties are accepted by the Clerk of the Board and referred to County Counsel by action of the Board of Supervisors. County Counsel forwards the Claim to the appropriate fiscal entity (Assessor, Auditor/Controller-Recorder or Treasurer-Tax Collector) for review and investigation after which Counsel places a recommendation before the Board of Supervisors to approve or deny the Claim. The claim process typically takes approximately four (4) months and inquiries regarding the status of a filed Claim should be directed to the Office of County Counsel. |
Complaints from the Public |
Members of the public wishing to submit a
complaint to the Board of Supervisors regarding a county department
can do so by completing the form available here. Claims are received
by the Clerk of the Board and routed to the Board of Supervisors and
responsible department head(s). Follow this link to access the

Conflict of Interest |
Designated County officials and employees,
members of County boards and commissions and members of other local
public entities are required to file a Statement of Economic
Interest/California Form 700 when assuming/leaving office and on an
