Effective September 8, 2009, the Needles district will no longer handle criminal matters.  General Civil, Family Law, Small Claims, Unlawful Detainer, Informal Juvenile, Traffic Infractions and case types involving other infraction charges (Code Enforcement, Fish and Game, etc.) will continue to be heard in Needles district.

Court will be in session the first full week of each month.  The clerk’s office will be open 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. while the courtroom is in session during the first full week of each month.  The clerk’s office will be open for filing from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. during the remaining weeks of each month.   All criminal matters involving misdemeanor and felony charges as well as any time sensitive matters for other case types will be heard in the Barstow district. 

Night court will be heard each month on the Monday of the first full week of each month.  If Night Court falls on a holiday it will be held on the Tuesday of the first full week of each month.  See the link to Night Court for specific court dates

Traveling North on I-15, exit to the I-40 east to Needles. Exit J street and turn south (right) (toward Denny’s Restaurant). Go up approximately three blocks to the Needles Civic Center. Pull into the parking lot on the south side of the facility. (If you reach Bailey Avenue, you have gone too far).
