Land Development and Construction

The Land Development and Construction function of the Departmentcovers various engineering aspects.This branch consists of Divisions that serve, in some capacity, both Transportation and Flood Control related issues, such as land development projects within the unincorporated areas of the County, contract administration of capital improvement projects, environmental clearances for routine maintenance of existing facilities and new Public Works projects, administration of regulations related to stormwater quality, removal of dead trees in the mountains, and administrative support for the Department.
