Saturday, March 13: Embroidery!
Find out the difference between a running stitch and a satin stitch, and then make a French knot! Come learn how to embroider your own project to take home. Embroidery takes time and patience, but we have fun embroidery activities for 4 year-olds on up! We will stitch along from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and activities are free with paid Museum admission.

Family Bird-Watching Workshop and Field Trip
Bird-watching is a great way to have outdoor family fun together! Sign up for this family workshop, appropriate for ages 8 and up, and have fun learning basic bird-watching skills, including how to use binoculars. Families will caravan to a local park after the Museum portion of this workshop to spot more birds while picnicking under the trees. Cost is $30.00 for a whole family or $15.00 for an individual. Family Book-making Workshop
Everyone in the family will get creative and learn to make some fun books together! You will construct an accordion book and a journal; learn how to sew a simple binding, and more. This workshop is from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and is designed for ages 8 and up. Sign up soon because space is limited! Cost is $30.00 for a family or $15.00 for an individual and includes all materials. Pre-registration form is available at the Museum or online. The deadline for pre-registration is March 26.

Chemistry in Our Lives! Do you use chemistry every day? You sure do! Come find out how with hands-on activities and demonstrations. Chemistry activities are free with paid Museum admission and will be bubbling from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
